Lumos is a magic spell in the Harry Potter series which stands for light. Wizards will use this to create a beam of light at the tip of the wand like a torch. We aim to brighten up KE students’ life and provide support to our fellow schoolmates from different aspects. As the bridge of communication between students and the school, we also hope to voice students’ needs and concerns to improve the atmosphere of the school.
Our school’s Prefect Team is set up to help maintain a disciplined and safe school environment. Headed by two head prefects, the team has a total of five groups and each group is led by two group leaders. All prefects are chosen by teachers carefully so that the school’s discipline can be upheld and a role model for students can be set.
‘Faith does not make things easy, it makes them possible’ (Luke 1:37). Through all the ups and downs, House of FAITH treasures every moment of success and failures. Together, we have made lots of breakthroughs and witnessed our students achieving goals made possible by faith. We aim to inculcate good moral in all house members and boost their team spirit.
REVERENCE is an attitude of deep respect tinged with awe. We dedicate ourselves to creating a sense of camaraderie and identity among our members, a community where we can make stronger connections, and most importantly, develop the relationship with God.
We aim to develop a sense of belonging, to promote the spiritual unity and to nurture a caring learning platform for every house member. Each member will share enthusiasm, joy and happiness through active participation in a wide variety of House activities. Each of them can learn, enjoy, appreciate and experience every moment which he/she spends with one another.
The house of Virtue aims to be united and bound together as one harmoniously! Interpersonal relationship is what we care the most and we believe that communication is what brings us together.
